Finished
I have now completed my Project, I have learnt a lot over the duration of the course and used programmes which I had not used before. I have learnt how to use new programmes like photoshop and Dreamweaver which I had not used before, therefore developing my skills further. To Conclude, I feel that I have made a product that appeals with my target audience as my results show. I feel that I could have made my project better by making a radio advertisement as many young people listen to the radio and is therefore a successful way as a source of promotion for my product.
All in all though I do feel proud of my product and I think I have made a product which connects with my audience.
Thanks For Looking At My Development!! :)

No: Girls (0) Boys (0)
Don't Know: Girls (2) Boys (2)
Question 2: Would You Use The Website?
Yes: Girls (9) Boys (8)
No: Girls (0) Boys (0)
Maybe: Girls (1) Boys (2)
Question 3: Would You Tell Your Friend About It?

Don't Know: Girls (1) Boys (0)
Results: My results show me that all of my participants found my internet easy to use and most of the majority were happy with that layout and what was included. A couple of the boys argued that they found it better looking at the web as they use the internet most of the time. The girls also argued the website was a good idea as the majority of teens use the internet everyday.

Public Response: Poster
Looking at my poster, I asked a group of 10 boys and 10 girls to see what they thought about it. The group are the same group who looked at my newspaper.
I asked them three questions. Here are the results:
Question 1: Do You Think The Poster Looks Professional?
Yes: Girls (9) Boys (8)
No: Girls (0) Boys (1)
Not Sure: Girls (1) Boys (1)
Question 2: Would You Buy The Product After Seeing The Poster?
Yes: Girls (6) Boys (5)
No: Girls (1) Boys (3)
Maybe: Girls (3) Boys (2)
Question 3: Would You Change The Poster
Yes: Girls (0) Boys (1)
No: Girls (9) Boys (8)
Maybe: Girls (1) Boys (1)
Results: The results show me that 17/20 of my target audience agree that my poster looks professional. A reason for the dip in Question 2 is because some of the boys argued that although it looked proffesional, they just would not buy a newspaper of any means.

Public Response: Newspaper
I wanted to know what the public reaction would be to my newspaper and I tharefore decided to test it on the public. I showed 10 boys and girls all between the ages of 13-17, which is the target age group of my newspaper and asked them what they thought about my newspaper. I asked them five questions each; here are their responses.
It is important to point out that the girls and boys who I asked are different to those who I asked in my questionaire.
Question 1: Would You Buy the Newspaper?
Yes: Girls (6) Boys (4)
No: Girls (2) Boys (3)
Maybe: Girls (2) Boys (3)
Question 2: Would You Read The Articles (Stories) In Real Life?
Yes: Girls (8) Boys (6)
No: Girls (2) Boys (2)
Maybe:Girls (0) Boys (2)
Question 3: Would You Tell Your Friend To Buy It?

Question 5: Do You Think You Could Make Improvements?
Yes: Girls (3) Boys (2)
No: Girls (6) Boys (6)
Don't Know: Girls (1) Boys (2)
Results: The results of my newspaper show me that my newpaper is effective with my target audience. Many girls commented that they liked the stories and would read them and said that it was good as it was something that they could use and talk to friends about. Some of the boys said that they liked it but would not pay for it. Some of the boys said that they propbably wouldn't tell their friends to buy it as it may not be 'cool'. Both the boys and the girls did agree though that the articles were clear to read; with most of them agreeing that they would read the articles in real life too.

Use of Technology In My Project
I have used many different types of technology in my project and therefore my knowledge of using these programmes has developed.
As I choose the print category I had to mail=nly use programmes like Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher. Photoshop was a programme which I had not used in my project last year and so I realised it was important to use in order for myself and my blog to develop.
Photoshop:
I used photoshop broadly on my newspaper and my poster. It was useful as I could change images, for instance I could cut images or remove slight imperfections if need be. At first I did find Photoshop hard to use but as the project went on I understood how to change images and create a paper.
Publisher:
I used publisher in making draft posters. It helped me in a quick way to see the layout and the design of what I wanted a certain thing to look like. Insetead of creating my piece straight away I wanted to see how a certain layout would work, therefore publisher was important as it enabled me to invision what a certain part of my project would be like.
Movie Maker:
I used movie maker when creating my advert for my website. Although I did not need to use video in my project I wanted to incorporate all different types of media in my project therefore making it user friendly with my audience. I used movie maker for my advert; I first filmed my advert and I then changed it in Movie Maker. I cut certain parts making it how I wanted to look.
Microsoft:
I have used the microsoft programmes with my coursework. I wrote my newspaper stories on Microsoft Word; I used Powerpoint in my Evaluation e.t.c.
Dreamweaver:
I used Dreamweaver when creating my internet for my newspaper. I was able to link pages and create flashing pictures. Although it was hard to use at first, as I moved on within my project I was able to develop my skills. I wanted to make my website as user friendly as possible and therefore have as many different types of media as possible.
Blogger:
I used Blogger to show my work and highlight what I wanted to do within my project. It highlights all of my plans and my objectives. I had used Blogger last year and therefore I had adapted to it making it easy for me to use.
